AWD Oil Analyzers Delivered to Dubai Lab, Win Top Praise!
Against the backdrop of ever-increasing global demand for equipment reliability, in July 2025 our company delivered another batch of Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment to Dubai, UAE, completing a full-station upgrade for a local customer’s lubricant laboratory.
The Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment supplied comprises:
• AWD-170 Low Temperature Viscosity Tester
– accurately measures lubricant dynamic viscosity at –40 °C.
• AWD-28-2 Oxidation Stability Tester for Lubricant Oils
– uses the rotating bomb method; within eight hours it can evaluate the long-term oxidation resistance of lubricants and greatly increases the laboratory’s daily throughput.
• AWD-311 Apparent Viscosity Tester
– designed for high-viscosity-index multigrade oils; after a single sample load it completes tests at both 40 °C and 100 °C, bringing the efficiency of Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment to a new level.
• AWD-31B Lubricating Oil Evaporation Loss Tester
– complies with ASTM D5800; evaporation-loss data directly correlate with lubricant volatility and energy-saving performance.
• AWD-24B High Temperature Foaming Characteristics Tester
– can simulate severe engine conditions at 150 °C to verify foam-suppression performance.
• AWD-39 Carbon and Ash Content Tester
– quantifies sulfated ash and carbon residue in three minutes.
From July 29 to August 3, our senior engineers were stationed in Dubai to install and commission each of the six units of Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment. Subsequently, they provided 48 hours of intensive training for laboratory technicians, covering ASTM standard interpretation, daily use, maintenance, and precautions for the Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment.
This time, the customer set very high requirements for the test results of the Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment. In the laboratory, the customer used this newly installed Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment to run repeated tests on multiple samples and compared the results with those from third-party laboratories. The facts proved that the low-temperature dynamic viscosity, oxidation stability, evaporation loss, anti-foam properties, and ash content obtained by these instruments were very accurate. The customer’s quality director gave a thumbs-up on the spot: “The accuracy and stability of this Lubricating Oil Analysis Equipment far exceed expectations!”
