    AWD-001 Multi-function Low-temperature Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the following equivalent ASTM methods: Pour point ASTM D97, Cloud point ASTM D2500, and cold-filter plugging point (ASTM D6371 equivalent principle). The instrument is suitable for determining the pour point ASTM D97, cloud point ASTM D2500, solidifying point and cold-filter plugging point of petroleum and petroleum products under these ASTM standards. Pour point ASTM D97 and cloud point ASTM D2500 are the most frequently requested tests in routine specification control, and the AWD-001 was planned from the outset to give reliable pour point ASTM D97 and cloud point ASTM D2500 data shift after shift with the minimum operator attention.

    Performance Characteristics
    The AWD-001 Multi-function Low-temperature Tester is composed of the test assembly, a refrigeration unit, an electrically-controlled vacuum-filtration module, a stirring mechanism, and a digital temperature-control system. Each subsystem is built so that pour point ASTM D97 and cloud point ASTM D2500 determinations can be carried out in the same bath without hardware change-over, ensuring that pour point ASTM D97 and cloud point ASTM D2500 results are obtained under identical thermal conditions.
    Test assembly
    The test assembly consists of test cups, filter assembly, calibrated pipette, low-temperature bath, and digital temperature regulator.     Operational sequence for pour point ASTM D97 and cloud point ASTM D2500
    After the sample is poured into the test jar and placed in the insulated collar, the operator selects either pour point ASTM D97 or cloud point ASTM D2500 on the touch screen.
